January 23rd Meeting Minutes

3:15- Meeting started. Member introductions, email exchange.

3:20- Alondra's Hot Wings reminder: Tonight! Starting at 5- closing. Jarritos, Macho Nacho Fundraiser reminder for 1/24 at 11-2pm, Student Union Plaza. Photo booth, nachos, Jarrito soft drinks and DJ.-CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

3:30- Upcoming dates and information overview: 

• 1/29- Personal Finance Workshop, 3:15, Alhambra Rm 305, USU. Develop helpful financial planning skills. 
• 2/2- Alumni Connections, 1-3pm, University Club- rsvp at www.asicsula.org/connections
• 2/4- Student Achievement & Raul Henderson Spirit Scholarship, 5pm, ASI- Admin Office 203, USU. There are 3 winners, $500 each. Community involvement oriented.

3:40- Paper Chase Press Internship Opportunity- Spring/Summer 2013. 

3:45- Marti Gras "mock tail" event on Feb 7th, 5-9

3:50- T-shirts on sale for $12. Meeting adjourned.

New Year, New Quarter, New Meetings! Winter 2013

Happy New Year!

We are happy to be back and look forward to another outstanding quarter at CSULA with our LPE members!

This month our first meeting will be January 23rd at 3:15pm 

in Mus 108. 

That week will be jam packed with LPE activities. Clear your calendars and get ready to have fun, socialize, eat, and fundraise with us!

 Jan 23rd: First Meeting of the quarter at 3:15 in Mus 108. Invite other Communication Majors to join us!

Jan 23rd: Alondra Hot Wing fundraiser/social. Come down and enjoy a few drinks, laughs and delicious food with LPE at Alondra's! It is located in Montebello at 616 W. Whittier Blvd. We will be there from 5pm- closing. 

Jan 24th: Jarritos and Macho Nacho fundraiser on campus! We will be serving Jarritos drinks and macho nachos right here on campus- bring your classmates for good eats at reasonable prices!
