Lambda Pi Eta is the official communication studies honor society of the National Communication Association (NCA). LPH was founded in 1985 at the University of Arkansas. LPH became a part of the NCA in 1988, and the official honor society of the NCA in July 1995. LPH represents what Aristotle described in his book, Rhetoric, as the three ingredients of persuasion: Logos (Lambda) meaning logic, Pathos (Pi) relating to emotion, and Ethos (Eta) defined as character credibility and ethics.

- Meeting began with the news that LPE now has an office and will be available on campus for support starting next week. Times of availability and location are to be announced.
- Recruitment proposal of a Bake Sale: assorted pastries and hot chocolate

- Went over ticket sales of Clipper's game, doing very well! If anyone needs more tickets please call Peter directly or email us at sigmaphicsula@gmail.com
- There will be a raffle to see who gets to be part of the fan tunnel for anyone who goes to the game with us.

- Midnight Madness will be at the Gym on Thursday at 10pm, $5 entry fee will be donated to "Make a Wish Foundation", we encourage all of our LPE members to go! First 300 students get CSULA freebies.
- Ideas for fundraisers: DJ/Music with selling of drinks; possibly on a Weds from 12-1:30. Need CSI approval and paperwork filed.
